Custom Home Building Process
Initial meeting
You will meet with us to review your plans and discuss the finishing's desired. If you do not have a plan, we can assist you in this process. Also a representative will meet with you at the property to discuss house location, grading and driveway. Once we get an idea of the vision for your new home, we can move on to the design and bid process.
Design and bid
Once the plan has been selected, if there are any modifications needed, we can assist with accomplishing this. Interior and exterior finish selections will be reviewed to help us determine allowances and bid the project. McCarroll Builders, inc will provide a written proposal for review and adjusting. Once agreed to, then a written contract will be prepared.
Construction
During construction we will be in contact with you throughout the process. There will be set meetings at the project site to discuss layouts such as electrical, cabinets, etc. We will provide a timeline of how long the build will take. We will give dates on when selections need to be made. You will select windows, doors, roofing, brick, trim, flooring, cabinets, etc. We will provide suppliers we use to make the process easy and simple.
